Recently, I have tried to directly copy paste JavaScript ads code into my blogger template and gave me an error message look like this:
"Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The processing instruction target matching “[xX][mM][lL]” is not allowed."
or
"Your template could not be parsed as it is not well-formed. Please make sure all XML elements are closed properly. XML error message: The content of elements must consist of well-formed character data or markup"
Some case happened when blogger xml parser seems to valid JavaScript code in blogger template without displaying an error message at all. So, I think that all is valid code until I discover the ads block nothing to gets displayed. I thought that this may be an issue with the adsense code. So, I tried to insert other ads code such as AdBrite and Chitika codes but they didn’t work as well.
Solution for this problem:
I converted all the special characters in the JavaScript into HTML entities. I replaced characters "<" to "<" and ">" to ">" and etc…
